Ag Sales & Procurement Manager
Responsibilities :
- Provides leadership, direction and oversight to Agro Division operations, programs, and policies in Melville.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the Prairie Coop’s objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead sourcing efforts to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and cost effectiveness criteria.
- Administer, and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to the pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity.
- Oversee the completion and follow through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure standards are achieved.
- Provide leadership to the Ag Sales Representatives, including the recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members.
Qualifications :
- Post-Secondary Education in Agriculture or a related discipline.
- CCA or P. Ag designation is desirable.
- 8+ years of Relevant Experience, including leadership experience.
- Strong background in Agriculture, Account Management, or Agronomy is considered an asset.
