TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill an Advanced Solutions Specialist position in Windsor, ON.
TRIGO is looking for a technically strong, highly practical innovator who can identify, initiate, and launch new ideas that improve how we deliver quality services. The Advanced Solutions Specialist will combine hands-on systems thinking with mechanical and technical expertise to design, prototype, validate, and implement solutions that increase efficiency, accuracy, speed, safety, and overall performance across our operations.
This role is ideal for someone who can connect the dots between real-world operational pain points and deployable technical solutions-then drive those ideas from concept to pilot, and from pilot to rollout.

Responsibilities
Client relationship & Business development
- Plan and execute pilots at customer sites or internal operations, including training, documentation, and performance measurement.
- Partner with Operations, Quality Engineering, IT / systems teams, and field leadership to ensure solutions fit the real work environment.
- Engage customers and internal stakeholders to align expectations, gain buy-in, and drive adoption.
- Support new service offerings with technical inputs, demonstrations, and implementation planning.
Operations
Identify and prioritize innovation opportunities across TRIGO operations (quality inspection, sorting, containment, rework, reporting, and service delivery).Build and manage an "innovation pipeline" from idea capture → feasibility → prototype → pilot → standardized deployment.Develop problem statements, business cases, and measurable success criteria (cost reduction, throughput improvement, defect detection improvement, lead-time reduction, etc.).Document and report and health and safety concernsComply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policiesOrganization & Management
Translate successful pilots into scalable SOPs, work instructions, and rollout plans.Own implementation quality : ensure the solution is safe, repeatable, and operationally practical.Capture learnings, best practices, and technical documentation to support standard deployment across sites.Build a repeatable approach for evaluating and launching future innovations (templates, checklists, pilot scorecards).Track KPIs and drive ongoing enhancements after launch.Technical
Lead the development of technical concepts involving mechanical systems, automation, tooling, fixtures, sensors, data capture, and workflow improvements.Evaluate and implement enabling technologies such as vision systems, handheld tools, measurement technologies, data systems, and lightweight automation.Create or support CAD concepts, functional prototypes, and test plans to validate performance before deployment.Other

2+ years of experience in a technical role involving systems, manufacturing, quality, automation, or industrial operations.Strong ability to translate operational needs into deployable technical solutions.Experience leading projects from concept through implementation (prototypes / pilots preferred).Comfortable working in fast-moving, customer-facing environments.Experience in automotive manufacturing environments (OEM / Tier 1 / Tier 2)Education background
Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
