Were looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who is energized by working directly with customers on high-impact technical projects and excited to embed Vendastas platform into complex environments around the globe. In this role, youll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeedwhile shaping the future of AI for local economies.

Your Impact

As a Forward Deployed Engineer you'll work with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Sales Engineering to :

• Serve as the technical lead for on-site and remote deployments of the Vendasta platform with enterprise customers (~1 week / month travel).
• Translate customer use cases into technical implementations using the Vendasta platform, APIs, and services while resolving integration challenges with autonomy.
• Apply deep architectural thinking to improve system scalability, security, and maintainability based on real-world field deployments.
• Act as the voice from the field by providing structured, actionable product feedback and proactively identifying and fixing adoption blockers.
• Drive cross-team alignment and technical clarity, while mentoring engineers and promoting AI-enabled workflows across Vendasta and our customers.

What You Bring to the Table

You bring senior-level engineering experience and a deep understanding of full-stack developmentincluding backend, frontend, databases, and cloud infrastructure. You have a track record of working directly with customers to solve high-impact technical challenges and are adept at influencing internal stakeholders. Your strong communication skills help bring clarity to complex technical situations, and you're passionate about integrating AI tools into modern software workflows.
