Reports To : Director, Brand Marketing
Job Purpose : The Social Media Coordinator, reporting to the Social Media Manager in a hybrid role. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the Social Media Manager and Social Media Specialist to assist in the execution of social media initiatives. This role will focus on managing Napoleon’s social media content across platforms and ensuring an engaging, cohesive brand presence. You’ll bring creative energy, attention to detail, and organizational excellence to the team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
- Directly assists the Social Media Manager to create strategies and tactics that drive measurable results.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate and enhance creative content, organic and paid campaigns for Napoleon and its clients.
- Assist in creating and scheduling social syndication campaigns for Napoleon customers.
- Source and curate user-generated content (UGC) for all lines of business.
- Assist with developing and management of organic content calendars primarily focusing on secondary social media channels.
- Assist the Social Media Manager with developing strategies and content calendars for LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, and more.
- Assist with YouTube management.
- Prepare and present monthly performance reports in collaboration with the Social Media Specialist and Social Media Manager.
- Monitor and record monthly social media analytics, delivering actionable insights to improve results.
- Oversee the project management board for social media to ensure team alignment and efficient workflows.
- Assist with other projects and tasks as required, including video and photoshoots.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and trends to inform strategies.
College Diploma in Marketing, Digital Media or similar field.
- 1-2 years professional work experience in social media marketing or a digital marketing role, preferably within consumer goods or aspirational brands.
- General computer skills; must have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in social platforms, with expertise in Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and TikTok.
- Familiarity with social media monitoring and management tools (Hootsuite) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must have great interpersonal skills, team builder and team player; an ability to relate professionally within all levels of the organization.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly.
- Is highly organized and detail oriented.
- Provides excellent customer service, is proactive and responsive.
- Is very comfortable in the online world, able to navigate complex software systems.
