Northern Lights Public Schools invites applications for the following position:

S2526- 42 Nutrition Program Worker - Aurora Middle School

We are seeking a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Nutrition Program Worker to start as soon as possible and until December 19, 2025 with possibility of extension. This assignment involves providing food services for approximately 350 students and maintaining the school cafeteria as a safe and sanitary environment under the direct supervision of the School Administration.

Aurora Middle School is located in the Town of Lac La Biche. Aurora Middle School has approximately 370 students in Grades 4 to 8.

Preference will be given to applicants who have:

• Minimum of Grade 12, preferably a Diploma, Certificate or Degree in the related field of culinary or food preparation
• Valid certification in Food Safety Course, Alberta Health Services
• Experience as a Cafeteria Worker, Food Handler or Chef
• Knowledge and understanding of school and school board policies, compliance with regulations and appropriate legislation Proven ability to prioritize task and carry out instructions necessary to complete assignments
