Our Ideal Candidate

We seek a Senior Structural Engineer with a strong background in construction engineering within the infrastructure sector to join our Vancouver team. You will plan, coordinate, execute, and manage the design of various structural projects, working collaboratively with engineers, EITs, designers, and project managers.

A Day in the Life

• Design of industrial structures, including concrete foundations and steel structures; estimate project costs; perform complex analysis and calculations; review designs; prepare reports, proposals, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with project team members to develop drawings and specifications.
• Perform structural designs, evaluate existing structures, and supervise inspections.
• Interact with clients to support current projects and develop new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and team members to define project requirements.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Address performance, scope, and schedule issues proactively with project managers.
• Provide support, mentorship, and guidance to the structural team.
