Orthopaedic Surgery

Fraser Health Authority is seeking Family Physicians (FPs) to join the Orthopedic service at Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) with an inpatient component to their practice.

Scope of Practice

As a Clinical Associate (CA), you will collaborate with Orthopaedic Surgeons and the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for trauma and elective orthopedic patients, managing their medical issues from admission to discharge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage medical issues for orthopedic patients
• Manage medication regimens
• Educate patients
• Participate in multi‑disciplinary rounds
• Plan discharges and coordinate with other specialties

Compensation

Hourly rate of $190.50 under an Alternative Payment Program (APP). No on‑call or after‑hours responsibilities.
