Position : Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

Terms of employment : Full-time, Permanent

Wage : $28.85~$31.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Number of Positions : 2

Job Duties :

• Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
• Plan and conduct activities by reading stories and teaching songs.
• Set up rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and prepare snacks.
• Prepare reports for parents and supervisors regarding children’s behavioural issues and potential learning.
• Guide and assist children in eating, dressing and toilet habits.
• Maintain daycare equipment organized and sanitized.
• Help children to express their creativity and find interests through art, music, play and physical activities.
• Encourage children in activities by telling stories and making crafts.
