Overview

THOAR Mining provides a wide variety of services in the support and operation of mining, ranging from project management, supervision, underground construction, maintenance, and mining equipment operation.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Contract Coordinator to provide onsite coordination between the Construction Management Team and the contractor's Underground Maintenance team at a potash mine site. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills with maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary to support the Underground Maintenance Supervisors.
• Attend and actively participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, construction coordination meetings, and ad-hoc discussions regarding construction priorities.
• Monitor and assess contractor performance in the field, ensuring that work is progressing in line with project schedules, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Identify potential safety concerns in the field and work proactively with the team to develop and implement safe work plans.
• Work in client SAP system to create reactive notifications, search for parts in the warehousing system.
• Assist with advancing kitting and staging for the maintenance teams.
