Production Manager / Director

I'm reaching out with a strategic career opportunity within a renowned manufacturer of fire safety solutions.Your Role* Lead manufacturing and assembly processes in a Lean production environment.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance output and quality.* Plan production schedules and create clear work instructions.* Identify and implement cost saving initiatives.* Oversee new product introduction (NPI) with engineering, from design through assembly.* Select and purchase production equipment.* Address operational challenges with structured problem solving.* Hire, train, and mentor production staff.* Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs).* Ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards and all health and safety regulations.Your Profile* University degree or college diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management.* Significant experience in Lean manufacturing (Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus).* Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.* Fully bilingual (French/English).* Lives within reasonable commuting distance of Pointe-Claire.Working Conditions* Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.* Competitive salary.* Group insurance and RRSP program.* Supportive environment with opportunities for career growth
