Specializing as a distributor of diverse products, ranging from protein bars and powder, energy drinks, baby food, to vacuum cleaners and health-related items, our client operates at the forefront of varied markets.

Notably, the products they handle come in boxes weighing between 15lbs to nearly 50 lbs, depending on the specific product and department.

This emphasis on versatility and scale showcases their dynamic role in the distribution landscape.

Major intersection : Erin Mills and Britannia Road, Mississauga

Compensation : $20-$22 / hr depending upon the candidate experience + 4% vacation pay

Day Shift : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Afternoon shift : 3 : 30 PM-12 : 00 AM

What a typical day looks like :

7; Operate Order Picker forklift in a safe working environment

7; Accurately count, correct, and report inventory quantities on assigned components and finished goods

7; Coordinate component movements with the supply chain group and transfer between locations as per production requirements

7; Complete all reporting / paperwork requirements on assigned components in a timely manner

7; Use WMS (Pyramid, EDMS) UFMS to identify the missing components for production, keep the operations team informed and update the Operations Manager

7; Verify pallet tag quantities, parts and storage unit numbers, record identified discrepancies and keep the stakeholders informed

7; Demonstrate mastery over the cycle count process

7; Avoid holding excess inventory and redirect accordingly

7; Perform quality audits on condition and accuracy of inventory

7; Demonstrate excellent communication skills when communicating with clients on emails or telephone

7; Perform root cause analysis when analyzing the inventory discrepancies

7; Demonstrate attention to detail and analytical skills

7; Submit weekly and monthly inventory reports to operations manager

7; Ability to walk and stand for longer periods as this role will require to go on the warehouse floor for physical inventory analysis

7; Maintain a clean and safe workplace

7; Adhere to all safety protocols

7; Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

What are we looking for :

7; Ability to work with extended hours and weekends flexibility as required during the monthly & quarterly counts or peak season

7;Candidate must be comfortable to working on heights for inventory counts and analysis

7;Order picker license is an asset

7;Min 1 to 2 years of work experience is preferred for this role

7;Advanced Excel skills including H lookup and V look up experience and other Microsoft skills required with attention to details

7;Clear Background Check

7;CSA approved steel-toed safety boots are required on site
