POSITION DESCRIPTION :

Performs product visual inspection and measurements to independently determine and promote conformance with quality standards

records inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to :

Independently performs product visual inspection and measurements by assessing compliance to specifications records

inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials.

Participate in issue resolution.

Follow action plans when a non-conformance is detected.

Utilize Stop Call Wait and Escalate process for reoccurring defects to supervisors

Participate in Tier meetings as needed

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1-year working experience in electronics manufacturing

Skills Required :

Basic computer skills

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) / Operations knowledge

Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) or equivalent experience.

IPC A-610 (inspection acceptance) or applicable standard (e.g. IPC-A600)

Proficient English verbal communication with Operators Quality Team and other partner teams

What you need to know :

You need to be legally eligible to work full-time in British Columbia Canada for any employer

Offer of employment contingent on successful background check

Shift : Day (Monday to Friday 7AM-3 : 30PM)

This is a full time regular position

Base Pay : The anticipated pay range for this position is CDN $20.00$22.00 per hour. The final offer will depend on factors including experience education etc.
