Description

Our client is looking for an intermediate BI Analyst to assist them on contract, on-site in Edmonton, Alberta.

Skills Power BI Data SQL Type Contract Experience Required/Mandatory Skills

• Experience with articulating and translating technical language for non-technical customers both verbally and in writing.

• Experience with presenting data in queries, dashboards, and reports in a way that is easy to understand.

• Direct hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI solutions that transform regulated and complex datasets into actionable insights for policy, operations and executive reporting

• Experience planning, conducting, and analyzing findings from, creating representations of, and reporting on co-design workshops with service users.

• Ability to collaborate and work with various stakeholders.

• Ability to interact and communicate professionally with a diverse group.

• Ability to think critically to select the most appropriate input data, modeling method, indicated variables, and techniques.

• Experience in public sector procurement processes with an organization of similar size and complexity as the GoA

• Experience with PowerBI, PowerView, Microsoft SQL Reporting, and Analytical Services.

• Experience working with large government datasets.
