Responsibilities

Conduct research

Determine the objectives and milestones of a new project

Develop the content of the curriculum

Elaborate the structure of the curriculum

Evaluate actual educational outcomes against intended objectives

Produce reports

Follow education policies and programs

Perform administrative tasks

Evaluate curriculum programs and recommend improvements

Conduct statistical analyses to determine cost and effectiveness of education policies and programs

Provide ongoing professional development, training and consultative services to teachers

Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery

Monitor and evaluate
