Salary :
The Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Administrator is responsible for the ongoing administration, governance, security, and operational support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments. This role ensures platform stability, security compliance, and continuity of service by managing environments, access controls, data loss prevention policies, and acting as the primary escalation point for platform-related issues.
This position focuses on administration, governance, and supportnot solution development or major customizations.
Tenant Governance
- Deploy and maintain standardized baselines for Power Platform using the Power Platform Admin Center
- Manage multiple Power Platform environments (e.g., Sandbox, Production), including naming conventions, descriptions, environment types, and access / security policies
- Assign and maintain user roles (Environment Admin, System Admin, Basic User, etc.)
- Review, configure, and maintain tenant-level Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
- Provide guidance on environment lifecycle strategy (Dev / Test / Prod segregation)
- Ensure alignment with customer identity, access, and compliance requirements
- Perform Dataverse updates to support platform continuity and leverage new capabilities
- Support solution deployment, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and minor configuration changes
Access & Security Management
Manage and maintain security roles and permissions across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environmentsCoordinate with customer IT teams on Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) group-based access controlEnforce least-privilege access best practices for makers and usersReview and report on permission assignments and privileged accessAssist with security role customization and field-level security configurationPlatform Health & Incident Management
Monitor Power Platform and Dynamics 365 environment health, performance, and complianceEnforce and review Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policiesTrack usage of premium connectors and third-party integrationsIdentify unmanaged or orphaned apps, flows, and componentsAct as the primary point of contact for platform-level issuesEscalate platform-level incidents and coordinate with Microsoft Support when requiredMonitor platform capacity and usage, providing reports and recommendations as neededSolution-Level Support
Provide troubleshooting support for existing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Dynamics 365 configurationsPerform basic issue resolution to ensure business continuitySupport operational fixes and minor configuration changes within approved scopeRequired Skills & Experience
25 years of experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 and / or Power PlatformStrong understanding of Power Platform environments, security roles, and governance modelsExperience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), role-based access control, and least-privilege security principlesFamiliarity with Dataverse, Power Platform Admin Center, and DLP policiesExperience coordinating escalations with Microsoft SupportStrong troubleshooting and incident management skills
