Project Consultant (OneStream, Finance System Transformation, CPA)

One of government our clients is looking for a Senior Finance System Implementation Consultant (OneStream, CPA) Length : 3 months contract.

with a possibility of extension Location : 100% Remote, Canada DESCRIPTION : This role is supporting a key Finance project and specialized in EPM with specific experience in the technical tool (OneStream).

It needs to be a senior person who can provide advice to the project team with knowledge of industry best practices. The ERP / Financial Systems team resides in the Office of the Deputy CFO and leads enterprise-wide programs while also supporting other business initiatives and previously operationalized projects.

This team serves as the bridge between the DCFO Office and other key stakeholders and understanding pain points throughout the process.

The team then implements multi-faceted business improvements to address the pain points, considering governance, business processes, technology, and change management.

The Senior Project Consultant, Enterprise Business Systems, is part of the Finance Division, Office of the Deputy CFO, reporting to ERP Business Lead.

The Senior Project Consultant, Enterprise Business Systems, supports and collaborates with the ERP Business lead and the Financial Systems teams during the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) project.

This role will provide advisory and consultation to the project based on industry best practices, and the individual's practical experiences and business knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : -Provide advice and consultation on overall project activities and planning to ensure project objectives and business goals are met -Advise and support on contractual reviews and negotiations with external vendors under the project -Attend business requirements workshops to understand business needs -Review and advise on technology and functional solution designs -Provide support and advice on business process re-design to ensure achievement of business transformation goals and alignment with technology design.

Propose improvements to automate business functions, streamline business processes and workflows and make best use of technology to improve effectiveness and user experience for stakeholders -Develops a thorough understanding of the business goals, transformation needs, business strategies and processes to translate into system functionality and user-requirements to guide designs and development activities -Support the development and documentation of project deliverables and project reporting, such as : RAID logs, status reports, etc.

Support the Financial Systems team to identify project gaps and risks with mitigation strategies -Assists and supports change management efforts (e.

g., managing expectations, training strategy, and risk mitigation strategies) to prepare the business units for successful adoption of system changes to achieve business goals SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE : -Have experience in implementing OneStream solutions from both FP&A and financial close perspectives -Experience leading teams to successfully deploy EPM solutions -Experience with Finance transformation projects including business process re-designs and change management -Excellent business analysis, technology and problem-solving skills -Knowledge of project management principles and practices -Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset URGENT : Please read the job description above.
