POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting fall protection projects from initiation through completion. This position works closely with management, technicians, engineers, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating multiple moving parts in a technical, safety-driven environment, while also comfortable attending meeting while working-at-heights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination & Administration
- Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of fall protection projects
- Coordinate project documentation including work orders, permits, drawings, and certifications
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones
- Maintain accurate project files and records in internal systems
Communication & Liaison
Act as a point of contact between clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliersSchedule site visits, installations, inspections, and service workAssist with client communications regarding project status, scheduling, and documentationHealth & Safety Compliance
Support adherence to applicable fall protection standards and regulations (e.g., CSA, OSHA, provincial regulations)Ensure required safety documentation is completed and filedAssist with coordination of site-specific safety requirements and access protocolsProcurement & Logistics
Assist with ordering materials and tracking deliveriesCoordinate equipment availability and technician schedulingMonitor inventory usage related to active projectsFinancial & Reporting Support
Assist with project costing, change orders, and invoicing documentationTrack labor hours and expenses related to projectsPrepare basic project status reports for internal reviewQualifications & Experience
Diploma or degree in project management, construction management, engineering technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably in construction, industrial services, or safety-related industriesFamiliarity with fall protection systems, construction environments, or safety compliance is an assetStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Google workspace, Microsoft Office, and experience with project management, Quickbooks, and ClickUp is an assetPersonal Attributes
