Job description

We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be in charge of handling all aspects of financial management, from accounts receivable and payable to preparing financial statements and handling lease agreements.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage accounts receivable and ensure all payments are recorded accurately
  • Oversee accounts payable to ensure all payments are made in a timely manner
  • Handle payroll duties, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Complete full cycle accounting tasks, from initial recording to final reporting
  • Prepare financial statements to provide an accurate picture of the company's financial health
  • Manage billing and invoicing tasks, ensuring all invoices are sent out and paid on time
  • Handle lease agreements, ensuring all terms are understood and adhered to
  • Conduct reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate
  • Handle month-end tasks, ensuring all financial matters are closed out for the month
  • Manage year-end tasks, ensuring all financial records are prepared for the new year.
  • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data
  • Capable of handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) independently
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct Cash Flow Analysis to monitor company's financial health
  • Experience in Variance Analysis to identify and explain financial performance discrepancies
  • Familiar with Month End Close procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Skilled in Account Reconciliation to confirm that the money leaving an account matches the amount spent
  • Experienced in Bank Reconciliations to ensure company's financial records are in sync with bank statements
  • Knowledge of Canadian Payroll regulations and procedures is mandatory
  • Ability to manage High-Volume Invoicing efficiently and accurately
  • Prior experience in the Construction industry would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with Lease Agreements and their financial implications
  • Expertise in Property Accounting to manage and track property-related financial transactions
