Job Summary
The Corporate Partnerships position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and manages a portfolio of corporate partners at Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation.
Working with the Director of Marketing and Communications and in collaboration with the Operations, Fundraising, and Marketing and Communications teams, this position is responsible for building and stewarding a portfolio of corporate supporters ensuring they are inspired by LCHHF’s mission and engaged in supporting the organization.
The focus of this portfolio is primarily sponsorship and employee giving. It serves as a gateway to the Foundation which will require collaboration with development team members ensuring that corporations with philanthropic interest and interests in employee giving are well supported.
With the Director of Marketing and Communications and in Collaboration with the Director of Philanthropy, the Corporate Partnerships position is responsible for developing and executing a vibrant and forward-looking fundraising program for their portfolio, including effective short-term and long-term program plans, revenue and expense projections, volunteer engagement, prospect research and portfolio development.

- Implement or assist in the implementation of LCHHF priorities, strategies and plans,
- Build a vibrant sponsorship program that serves the long and short-term goals of the Foundation,
- Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate sponsors and provide support in other fundraising areas as necessary,
- Build and implement an Employee Giving Program,
- Build a pipeline of corporate supporters who encourage employee giving such as through match giving programs; assist corporations to create their own internal giving programs in support of LCHHF.
- Actively connect corporate sponsors interested in philanthropy with the development team,
- Work collaboratively with the marketing and events specialist to ensure event sponsorship meets the goals of Foundation events,
- Actively work to improve the corporate program through regular assessment against key metrics,
- Provide effective and meaningful stewardship with critical assessment against return on investment,
- Develop and execute plans within timelines,
- Administer fundraising activities and other related duties,
- Work with suppliers, donors, supporters and volunteers to reach goals and meet deadlines,
- Work closely with the Director to leverage opportunities to match corporate interests with Langley’s health care needs,
- Stays current on important industry trends, changes and opportunities in the philanthropic environment as well as community demographics, and health care expectations.
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with securing significant sponsorship commitments of $10,000 and more,
- Good understanding of the development cycle and the role events play in that cycle,
- Exhibits superior written and presentation communication skills coupled with well-developed active listening skills,
- A high-level of organizational ability, attention to detail, and ability to manage tight timelines and perform complex tasks with minimal supervision,
- Strong decision-making skills demonstrated by strategies that move the organization forward, effective goal setting, action plans and evaluation of successes and failures,
- Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality and the ability to effectively interact with executive-level stakeholders,
- A strong donor service orientation, demonstrated by the ability to anticipate, understand and respond to the needs and expectation of donors,
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Internet and Outlook; familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or other developed CMS,
- Willing and able to work in the evenings and on weekends as required,
- Valid driver’s license,
- Bachelor’s degree or BCIT business diploma,
- CFRE an asset.
Perks
The hours of work are negotiable between 0.8 and full-time (37.5 hours per week). The salary would range from $51,200 - $83,000 based on hours per week and experience with a benefits package including extended health, dental benefits and RRSP matching contributions.
The Foundation offers a remote and in-office work environment. This position requires evening and weekends.
