Enterprise Architect (4650)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company is seeking Enterprise Architects to help our client with translating its business requirements into IT capabilities by developing comprehensive architectural models.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate current Enterprise Architecture, comparing it against the enterprise technology roadmap to identify and document any gaps.
• Propose solutions to address gaps and ensure alignment with long-term technology strategy.
• Develop comprehensive architectural models that translate business requirements into IT capabilities, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with strategic objectives.
• Continue the development and maturation of enterprise technology roadmap, consistent architecture methods, standards, and tools.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of IM / IT Approved Strategic Plan, ensuring that architectural models and roadmaps are aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop and refine timelines, milestones, and implementation plans to support the successful execution of the enterprise technology roadmap.
• Create detailed specifications for enterprise architectural artifacts, including reference and conceptual architectures.
• Document and maintain architectural standards, ensuring that all IT projects adhere to established methodologies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that architectural decisions support overall business objectives.

Requirements :

• 10+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect.
• Experience producing deliverables using MS Office, Visio, and Project Management tools.
• Strong background in developing and implementing architectural models.
• Diploma or degree in Business Administration or an Information Technology discipline, in combination with Information Technology certifications.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and methodologies.
• Deep understanding of enterprise technology roadmaps, architecture methods, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify gaps and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in transportation organizations is beneficial.

The hourly rate range for this position is $95- $125, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
