Regional Director, Vancouver Island

The Opportunity

Are you a dynamic compassionate leader with a passion for supporting diverse care teams and improving the lives of those in need AgeCare is looking for a Regional Director (RD) to oversee all Clinical Support Services and Facility Services across our Continuing Care communities in Victoria British Columba. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by driving excellence in care and service delivery.

What You Will Do

• Champion Our Vision: Lead with purpose by effectively promoting AgeCares Mission Vision and Guiding Principles to inspire and motivate care teams and partners.

• Lead with Impact: Guide diverse teams across multiple sites resolving conflicts with empathy and ensuring a harmonious work environment where every voice is heard.

• Collaborate & Support: Step in as a strong leader in the absence of department managers offering direction and support across all aspects of community operations.

• Uphold Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional professionalism integrity and ethics in all actions setting the standard for care and service delivery.

• Shape the Future: Play a key role in recruiting selecting and mentoring inspiring care leaders who share your dedication to quality service.

What You Bring

• Master of Health or Business Administration or another related field required.

• 5 - 10 years of leadership experience in a health care environment and in a leadership management capacity directly supervising and/or managing employees.

• 5 years of operational management experience including direct accountability for budgets and multiple facilities.

• Experience with workforce management especially with unionized workforce is an asset.

• Experience working in continuing care is an asset
