We have an immediate opening for Forklift Operators at our Windsor Extrusion Plant. Schedule : 12 hour shifts Rotational (2 weeks on days, and 2 weeks on nights) Continental Shift Duties & Responsibilities : Operate lifting devices, i.

e. Counterbalance Forklift, Combi Forklift Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, and lifting devices Ensure material handling equipment is safe and functioning correctly Support inventory control with accurate documentation Able to weigh and document materials Ensure all production rack tags are true and accurate for inventory and that material is stacked and stored in above expected condition for final delivery to the customer Support all production needs i.

e. load log magazine, move good material into correct locations assist with packing off the line and dump scrap bins onto correct scrap trailers Follow 5S system Follow all safety procedures, and report anything that is unsafe Preparing scrap trailers Support all production needs i.

e., bring material (racks) to packers, move good material into correct locations and, move packed material to designated zones Able to perform other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications : Valid forklift license Clear communication skills written & verbal to perform the job successfully Ability to load multiple types of trailers (i.

e. vans, flatbeds, step decks, sprinter trucks) Previous experience as a material handler working in an industrial manufacturing environment Ability to perform well under pressure Ensure material handling equipment is safe and functioning correctly Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Follow all safety procedures, and report anything that is unsafe What We Offer : · Competitive hourly rate to start : $22.
