Key position functions include :

• Responsible for material handling of product from incoming receiving to work order picking.
• Pull all material required for work orders and place into proper locations per schedule priority and / or instruction.
• Unload, sort, inspect and put away incoming material as per receiving instructions.
• Ensure processes, lifting devices and forklift operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.
• Check to ensure material picked for work orders is correct before being released.
• Record required information by pick list or RF gun, which may include lot numbers, serial numbers, heat numbers, quantities, etc.
• Ensure proper and timely flow of paperwork for pick lists, purchase orders, packing slips, etc.
• Advise Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages or delivery delays.
• Perform uncrating duties for overseas shipments.

General warehouse duties include but are not limited to : Maintaining and organizing goods, keeping areas clean and orderly.

Maintaining outside casting and forging areas, keeping areas clean and orderly.

Keeping both product and storage areas clearly labelled.
