As a Project Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting project teams throughout the bidding, planning, and execution phases. What You’ll Do
As a Project Coordinator, you will :
- Support project teams through all phases of project planning and execution.
- Contribute to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality initiatives, including preparing method statements, safe work plans, and hazard assessments.
- Assist with estimating and resource planning by interpreting drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare material and equipment requisitions with precision and clarity.
- Coordinate and submit required permits before project start-up.
- Support client invoicing by preparing documentation and progress reports.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Participate in daily safety communication meetings and site inspections.
- Provide general project support as assigned across multiple active sites.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering , Construction Management , or a related discipline.Eligibility for AScT or P.Eng. (or working toward professional designation) is considered an asset.Skills & Competencies
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Capable of performing basic site surveys.Proficient with MS Office; experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is an advantage.Strong communicator with excellent organization and problem-solving skills.Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.Able to travel to various project locations across BC and occasionally across Canada.Must have a reliable vehicle for site travel.Working Conditions
