We are expanding our Engineering Maintenance Team and are seeking to fill a Red Seal Certified Industrial Electrician. This individual will support both electrical maintenance and mechanical equipment maintenance. Our team members are responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.

  • Electrical Red Seal Certified Industrial Technician will work a Day Shift M-F, 42 hour work week.

Duties may be related to the selection, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production / fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and / or technical analyses and problem-solving.

Carries out and / or assists in the development, improvement and optimization of standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance.

May assist in qualifying sources of raw materials, chemicals and other ingredients used in the manufacturing process.

May use layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals and rough sketches or drawings to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance and repairs.

Works with engineers to develop, execute and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components, parts, products or processes / systems.

Compiles and maintains applicable documentation.

May design and / or build tools.

Qualifications

  • Requires Associate degree and / or higher education, specialized training / certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Red Seal 442A electrical certification.
  • Electrical maintenance in an industrial manufacturing facility.
  • Additional Details

    This job has a full time weekly schedule.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $ - $ CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
