This is a Vancouver-based hybrid role where you will join our team in the office Tues - Thurs, with the flexibility to work from home on Mon & Fri.
We are conveniently located in Yaletown, near the Expo and Canada Skytrain. While Vancouver based is ideal, we are open to considering candidates in Eastern Time zone as well.
What You’ll be Doing
Form a strategic partnership with your client group. You’ll be working closely with the go-to-market leadership team to deeply understand their key business priorities and partner with them to provide tailored talent initiatives and advice to help achieve those priorities.
You will provide targeted consultation and advice to help these teams achieve their goals through their talent strategy.
Drive manager effectiveness. You will provide direct partnership to our managers and coach them to be even more successful.
You will also participate in the development and deployment of org-wide learning initiatives to enhance the toolkits and competencies of our managers.
Facilitate organizational development. Work with leaders and stakeholders across teams to assess organizational needs and develop initiatives to meet them including;
initiatives to improve team effectiveness and performance, promote our Visier values, help team members increase their impact on the organization, and more.
Manage Employee Relations. You will manage employee relations cases from start to finish, applying your existing knowledge of best practices and employment law alongside your deep understanding of business priorities and creative thinking and consultation skills.
Champion data-driven decision-making. We created the industry leading people analytics platform and we want your help to drink our own champagne’.
Through our amazing software, leverage data insights to help leaders make better decisions.
Lead talent projects and initiatives. Roll up your sleeves and lead a centre of excellence within P&C. It may be total rewards, performance, career development, or something else.

What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Relevant post-secondary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including related positions such as HR Business Partner, etc.
- You have worked in tech, or a similar industry, before and have an understanding of SaaS company business models and economics.
- Proven track record of strategic partnership and / or consultation to help organizations achieve results. You can speak to multiple initiatives you’ve led that had a transformative impact that led to business outcomes.
- Excellent business acumen and a broad view of business beyond just HR.
- Have experience with, or a genuine curiosity to learn, analytics and data-driven decision-making practices. We promise our technology is as fun to use as it looks on our website.
- Strong functional knowledge of US employment law and the ability to research other jurisdictions and practices when needed.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.
The base pay range for this position in Vancouver is $100k - $125k / year + bonus
The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills.
Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
