Financial Projects, Sr. Manager

Summary

This strategic role is responsible for leading and executing high-impact, cross-functional projects that drive financial efficiency, support strategic business initiatives, and enhance the company's financial performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with exceptional analytical, project management, and communication skills, capable of navigating complex challenges from conception through to completion.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Execution : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical finance-related projects, including but not limited to M&A integrations, system implementations, cost optimization initiatives, and business process re-engineering.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Act as the primary finance liaison for special projects, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Operations, HR, Legal) to ensure alignment, resource allocation, and successful project outcomes.
• Strategic Support : Provide analytical support and financial expertise on various ad-hoc strategic initiatives as directed by senior leadership. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Risk Management : Assess and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Sustainability & ESG Reporting : Lead the development and implementation of our corporate sustainability reporting strategy. This includes managing the collection of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data, ensuring data accuracy, and preparing sustainability reports in accordance with recognized frameworks.
• Process Improvement : Identify and implement improvements to financial and sustainability reporting processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Champion best practices across the organization.
• Internal Control Framework : Document and evaluate business processes, identifying risks and designing effective controls to mitigate those risks.

Compensation Details :

Expected Pay Range :

94,400.00 - 134,800.00 / CAD Annual

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.

Supplemental Pay :

This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
