Position Description

As a Material Handler Leadhand, you will be accountable to :

• Guide, motivate, and train junior material handlers; lead by example in performing tasks.
• Load, unload, move, sort, count, weigh, and pack / unpack materials using hand tools or equipment.
• Maintain accurate stock records, track shortages, perform cycle counts, and report needs to supervisors.
• Pull, pack, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
• Verify incoming / outgoing deliveries, inspect equipment, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and maintain a clean work area.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
• Report issues, track inventory, and collaborate with other departments.
• Compliance with health and safety.
