The Role
Pason is seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist to support our procurement team in acquiring goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will assist in supplier sourcing processing purchase orders monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires strong attention to detail excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sourcing & Supplier Management : Identify evaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing quality and reliability.
- Purchase Order Processing : Prepare and issue purchase orders ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Cost & Price Analysis : Research and analyze cost-saving opportunities supplier pricing and market trends to optimize procurement spending.
- Inventory Management Support : Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to determine purchasing needs preventing shortages or overstocking.
- Order Tracking & Logistics : Track shipments coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams and resolve any delivery delays or discrepancies.
- Quality Control Assistance : Work with internal teams to ensure received goods meet quality and specification requirements coordinating returns or replacements when necessary.
- Negotiation & Contract Management : Assist in negotiating terms pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
- Data Management & Reporting : Maintain procurement records update supplier databases and generate reports on purchasing activities and spending trends.
- Compliance & Documentation : Ensure all purchases comply with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with finance operations and warehouse teams to streamline procurement processes and align purchasing with business needs.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field OR 1-2 years of experience in purchasing procurement or supply chain (internships or relevant experience will be considered).Strong analytical problem-solving and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).Excellent organizational and communication skills.Strong attention to detailPerks and Benefits
