Instructor Therapist – Entry to School (ETS) Service
Job Description
We are looking for Instructor Therapists to join our expanding team. The Entry to School (ETS) service will aim to support families with children ages 3 to 5 who are entering school for the first time. Children enrolled in ETS will receive six‑months of group programming focusing on building skills prior to their entry to school followed by six‑months of transition supports and individualized consultation. As an ETS service provider, Kinark will deliver ETS as part of the York Simcoe Autism Network (YSAN).
This is a temporary full‑time position with a contract length of 1 year.
Job Summary
The Instructor Therapist will be responsible for providing Applied Behaviour Analytic services to children and youth with autism and their families under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). In this position, you will provide group‑based services preparing children for first‑time entry to school and may include supporting Kinark’s Fee‑for‑service and / or Foundational Family Services.
You may be scheduled to work evenings, weekends, split shifts, or shorter shifts of less than 7 hours per day. The position may require you to work out of other Kinark sites and to work in different programs and services within the Autism division of Kinark. Your primary work location may be reassigned within a 50 km radius.
