The Opportunity

This is a foundational role for a hands-on, strategic finance professional. In the first 6–12 months, the Financial Controller will personally own accounting, controls, and reporting. Over time, this role will evolve into Head of Finance / Director of Finance, including building and leading the finance team.

You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team and play a central role in establishing financial discipline, transparency, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting cycle including bookkeeping, monthly close, and financial statements.
• Implement financial controls, policies, and approval workflows.
• Manage cash, treasury, and liquidity planning.
• Build cost accounting and inventory controls for a hardware business.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Prepare management, board, and investor reporting.
• Manage relationships with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors.
• Select, implement, and manage finance systems and ERP as the company scales.
• Hire and lead the finance team as growth requires.
