What you'll do

  • Establish customer relationships by building rapport, becoming familiar with specific needs, expectations, and requirements of target customers.
  • Book appointments for customers to view and drive trucks.
  • Achieve and maintain personal sales targets set out by yearly department goals.
  • Organize and schedule sales delivery processes.
  • Communicate promptly with direct supervisor regarding any opportunities and customer issues that may arise.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with their vehicle and to build future sales.
  • Answer incoming calls in accordance with established call rotation (if applicable).
  • Promptly greet walk-in customers in accordance with established call rotation (if applicable).
  • Monitor advertisements for competitor pricing awareness.
  • Display a clean and neat appearance wearing appropriate attire per the company's dress code.

What you'll need

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous medium duty truck sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License with Abstract acceptable to TDF Group's Driver and Vehicle Safety Program.
  • Pre-hire Criminal Security Clearance is required.
  • A commitment to delighting customers through attitude, attention, and effort.
  • Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to solve problems independently following company guidelines and policies.

Please note this is a commission-based position.
