Job descriptionLoad, unload and transport construction materials Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt Clean and pile salvaged materials Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes and hand tampers Equipment and machinery experience Power-driven floats Concrete saws Jackhammers Power cutting tools Driveways Residential Sidewalks and curbs Security and safety Criminal record check Fast-paced environment Physically demanding Tight deadlines Manual dexterity Repetitive tasks Handling heavy loads Overtime required Weight handling : up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Flexibility Team player
