Swimco is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to continue building its reputation for an outstanding customer service experience through a highly trained team of individuals. Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure store meets sales plan by effectively utilizing available resources to maximize business opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing direction to sales associates to achieve or exceed sales budgets while maximizing customer service and product knowledge.
  • Maintain the overall store appearance such as the positioning of racks, maintenance, and housekeeping so it reflects company directives and is in accordance with company standards.
  • Create effective succession, recruiting, hiring and training plans, resulting in lower store turnover.
  • Work collaboratively with District Manager to manage action plans for store and strive to achieve objectives and deliverables in a fast paced selling environment.
  • Takes clear accountability for training and execution in-store in all areas, including business, operations, sales / customer service, and visual merchandising to ensure all employees are trained accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • 3-5 years retail store management experience.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in written.
  • Proven ability to train and develop high performing store teams.
  • Proficient in technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Results driven attitude.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Recruit, hire and train for future management candidates.
