Job description

Shift Manager – Fast Food Restaurant (Dairy Queen)

We are looking for a shift manager to oversee daily operations at our Dairy Queen location. The role focuses on managing staff, ensuring quality service, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Requirements

High school graduate (Secondary school completion)
1 year to less than 2 years of restaurant management or related experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under pressure
English language proficiency

Key Responsibilities

Establish methods to meet work schedules

Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures

Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation

Hire food service staff

Ensure food and service meet quality control standards

Prepare budgets and cost estimates

Address customer complaints or concerns

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage

Prepare and submit reportsPrepare food order summaries for chef

Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres

Supervise and check assembly of trays

Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys

Establish work schedules

Work Conditions
