Shift Manager – Fast Food Restaurant (Dairy Queen)

We are looking for a shift manager to oversee daily operations at our Dairy Queen location. The role focuses on managing staff, ensuring quality service, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school graduate (Secondary school completion)
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of restaurant management or related experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under pressure
  • English language proficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reportsPrepare food order summaries for chef
  • Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
