SEG is looking for a dedicated, responsible & active individual with a flexible schedule to join our team in the role of Community Coordinator. This entry level position is a great way to break into the sports marketing industry with Saskatchewan’s premier entertainment group.

You will help organize and execute community events. You’ll interact with fans and bring our passion for sport to life with your enthusiasm. You will ensure our players and promotional staff have everything they need to provide a memorable experience. You will assist our game day managers in delivering world class entertainment. And no two days will be the same!

Position : Community Coordinator

Status : Full-Time

Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Work alongside the Events, Entertainment and Community Manager and Game Day & Events Managers
  • Help coordinate, set up and teardown community initiatives and events
  • Ability to have fun and interact with fans at in-game and external events
  • Act as a liaison for players, mascots, and promo staff at community events
  • Collaborate and work in support of all departments within the SEG sports staff including ticket promotions, sponsorship activations, game day operations, community events, and content creation.
  • Assist in capturing and creating content when attending community events

Qualifications :

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Friendly, engaging, and enthusiastic personality
  • Team player. Be willing to help staff in all areas.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and work individually when needed
  • Flexible schedule – Must be able to work most home games, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Passionate about sports and general sporting knowledge
  • Eager to learn and advance within the sports marketing and events industry
