Job Description Senior Structural Designer

Description : Reporting to the Drafting Manager, the Senior

Structural Designer is an integral part of our drafting and design

team. Responsibilities : Create accurate 3D structural models.

Develop detailed structural drawings using Tekla. Check and approve

vendor-supplied structural drawings. Support the structural checker

as required. Mentor junior and intermediate structural designers.

Create and maintain structural drawing standards. Develop and

maintain standard structural drawings. Recommend improvements to

processes and design efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements : 10+ years of experience in vessel design and

fabrication. Proficient in the use of Tekla software and AutoCAD

(2D and 3D). Strong knowledge of structural fabrication processes.

Solid understanding of structural design principles. Proficient in

the use of Bluebeam Revu. Excellent communication skills. Ability

to work independently and collaboratively within a team
