Reporting to the AP Lead, the successful candidate will be a proactive and diligent professional with a motivated work ethic.
Key Responsibilities for the Job :
Review, match, code, and enter invoices Cheque runs, EFT’s, and cut physical cheques Manage the AP inbox for vendor inquiries and questions Vendor statement reconciliations Maintain records and spreadsheets Year-end support relating to AP
Skills & Attributes for Success :
Post-secondary education in accounting or business 2 + years of accounting and / or AP experience Previous experience in a contract or project-based environment is an asset Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Detail oriented with exceptional organization skills Proven problem solving skills and efficiency Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
