Role : Human Resources Vice Manager

Our client is dynamic, constantly growing and evolving is currently looking for a bilingual a Human Resources Vice Manager to join their team in the Montreal area.
Responsibilities :
- Provide direct administrative support to the Human Resources Manager on all HR related matters
- Oversee and actively contribute to the entire recruitment cycle
- Provide quality service to all employees by professionally handling all complaints and inquiries
- Assist in the implementation of human resources strategies, policies, procedures and programs
- Ensure effective monitoring of all day-to-day human resources functions in order to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
- Provide appropriate advice on legal issues and compliance with market labor laws
- Support our US branches
- Contribute to the implementation and revision of organizational structures in the divisions concerned act as a change agent by creating a work environment culture
- Creating the job profile, selecting search methods, selection and interviews, coordination of background checks, presentation of the offer
- Evaluate payroll processing, including ensuring that leave and sick leave are recorded in the system
- Respond to employee queries in a timely manner
- Set up and maintain current employee files and database
- Administer new employee on-boarding
- Contribute to the creation and development of human resources policies and procedures
- Participate in other human resources projects and tasks as required
- Act as first line for all HR administration issues
The required qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management
- 2-4 years’ experience in Human Resources as a generalist (CPHR is an asset)
- Experience / knowledge of US employment regulations
- Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment
