Shape, Build, and Bring Metal to Life
We’re looking for a Metal Fabrication Laborer who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in quality workmanship. In this role, you’ll support the metal fabrication process by preparing, measuring, cutting, bending, and finishing metal components — helping turn raw materials into precise, functional parts.

What You’ll Do
Material Preparation & Handling
- Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, and work orders to plan operations
- Measure, mark out, cut, and bend metal components accurately
- Move, stage, and organize materials safely between storage and production areas
- Assist machine operators with handling larger metal pieces
- Tag materials with job numbers and identifying marks as required
Equipment & Tools
Operate grinders, brushes, hoses, and other hand or power tools safely and efficientlyAssist with the operation of heavy equipment as requiredFabricate and handle metal components to support production goalsCleanliness, Waste, & Inventory
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentCollect and dispose of scrap, garbage, and recyclables according to procedureMonitor stock levels, anticipate supplies, and assist with ordering and verifying inventoryConserve resources by using materials and equipment efficientlyMaintenance & Collaboration
Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and report issues promptlyComplete production and quality documentation as requiredWork closely with the team to achieve production targetsSuggest operational improvements to supervisors to enhance safety, quality, or efficiencySafety Is Paramount

Education & Experience
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent1–3 years of experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial work preferredFamiliarity with hydraulic systems or machinery an assetHands‑on experience using hand and power toolsTechnical Skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentsSolid mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools, machines, and equipmentProficiency with basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, ERP systems)Knowledge of workplace safety practicesCore Competencies
