Description de posteOperate grinders, brushes, hoses, and other hand or power tools safely and efficiently Assist with the operation of heavy equipment as required Fabricate and handle metal components to support production goals Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Collect and dispose of scrap, garbage, and recyclables according to procedure Monitor stock levels, anticipate supplies, and assist with ordering and verifying inventory Conserve resources by using materials and equipment efficiently Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and report issues promptly Complete production and quality documentation as required Work closely with the team to achieve production targets Suggest operational improvements to supervisors to enhance safety, quality, or efficiency Follow all safety instructions, procedures, and protocols Wear the correct PPE for every task Adhere to lockout / tagout procedures Report unsafe conditions immediately Maintain good housekeeping and hazard-free work areas Work safely around moving equipment, heat, fumes, and airborne particles Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent 1–3 years of experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial work preferred Familiarity with hydraulic systems or machinery an asset Hands‑on experience using hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents Solid mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools, machines, and equipment Proficiency with basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, ERP systems) Knowledge of workplace safety practices Accountability & Integrity – Own your work and act ethically Teamwork & Communication – Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly Performance & Growth – Take pride in results and strive for continuous improvement Respect & Inclusion – Work respectfully with colleagues, customers, and partners Safety & Environmental Responsibility – Contribute to a safe, sustainable workplace Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heat, fumes, and moderate‑to‑high noise levels Ability to work overtime as required Physical demands including standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces Functional fit test Drug & alcohol test Audiometric and hearing protection fit tests Mask fit test Must be clean‑shaven for respiratory PPE

Shape, Build, and Bring Metal to Life
We’re looking for a Metal Fabrication Laborer who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and takes pride in quality workmanship. In this role, you’ll support the metal fabrication process by preparing, measuring, cutting, bending, and finishing metal components — helping turn raw materials into precise, functional parts.

What You’ll Do
Material Preparation & Handling
- Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, and work orders to plan operations
- Measure, mark out, cut, and bend metal components accurately
- Move, stage, and organize materials safely between storage and production areas
- Assist machine operators with handling larger metal pieces
- Tag materials with job numbers and identifying marks as required
