You as a Planner and Scheduler for our Edmonton Building Group will :
- Develop a full Critical Path Method (CPM) logic generated baseline schedules for projects.
- Participate in the planning and schedule preparation process during pursuits and respond to RFP documents in projects.
- Prior to project start, create and revise preliminary master schedules and proposal for Operations detailing the sequence of all work to be performed to ensure schedule is realistic and competitive
- Evaluate construction progress and perform regular progress updates (bi-weekly or monthly) and prepare the reports for evaluation of the schedule health. Maintain the integrity of the master schedule for each project and identify and record the impact of work performed according to the schedule. Prepare and maintain the project schedule log on a regular basis.
- Participate in developing and maintaining a database of construction productivity rates, procurement durations, lead times and project risk items
- Identify unplanned events (new changes / unforeseen conditions) and incorporate their impacts into the schedule
- Develop as-built versus as-planned schedules to provide a manageable “snapshot” comparison of the project schedule.
