Reporting directly to the Service Supervisor the Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting and overseeing repairs on a variety of Caterpillar equipment in the shop and field environments. This position will have a focus on Caterpillar engine models from C Series to 3600.

The successful candidate will be on a 7x7 shift and will work at our Power Systems Calgary facility.

Job Description :

• Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs and overhauls on Caterpillar engines
• Interface with customers both internal & external
• Working with the supervisor on allocated tasks
• Contribute to and promote a positive safety culture
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment standards
• Various related duties as required
