Staff Accountant - Accounting, Excel
Job Title : Staff Accountant
Location : Onsite in Vernon, CA; M-F 8am-5pm
Salary : $28-$31 / hour, Medical / Dental / Vision Benefits, 401K, 2 Weeks PTO, 8 Sick Days
Requirements : 2+ years of experience working as an Accountant, Excel Spreadsheets, Bachelors Degree in Accounting

We have 700 + employee company and provide very stable careers. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Vernon, CA!
What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries
- Prep worksheets, reconciliations, and journal entries in relation to business transactions
- Respond to inquiries about accounting and finances by gathering and analyzing data.
- Generate financial reports through the use of an integrated system
- Perform special projects as needed
- Analyze financial results, including comparing them to forecasted and trended results
- Assist with the preparation of other reports for management
- Help with the year-end financial audit
- Assist in the compilation of statistical and / or financial information for budget preparation
- Perform other related tasks as assigned in order to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the business.
What You Need for this Position
- 2+ years of experience with Accounting
- Strong experience with financial and numeric data
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Finance
- Excel Spreadsheets
- Manufacturing Industry (Plus)
