  • 6+ years' experience in IT program / product management or in an architecture role with product management functions
  • 2+ years experience working on cloud migration initiatives
  • 2+ years' experience working with the public service or 2+ years in a customer-facing role within government or a public organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English.
  • As this role requires the employee to interact with other Amazon entities globally as well as employees and stakeholders in other Canadian provinces, knowledge of both French and English is required for this position.

About the Role

AWS Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) is seeking a Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to help support the Quebec provincial Government customers.

The CSM will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS within these customers.

Candidate must be willing to pass the Solution Architect Associate certification within the first year of employment.

Key Responsibilities

Vous travaillerez en équipe pour définir la stratégie, les besoins, identifier les ressources appropriées, définir les objectifs et suivre, signaler et communiquer l'avancement des projets.

Vous évaluerez également les risques, anticiperez les goulots d'étranglement, assurerez la gestion des problèmes critiques, l'alignement des processus client aux approches de migration.

Vous allez faire l'évangélisation au nom d'AWS, identifier avec les clients les ressources appropriées requises et proposer les modèles de gouvernance pour soutenir l'atteindre de leurs objectifs.

You will work with all stakeholders to define needs, identify appropriate resources, set goals, track and report progress, develop schedules, and communicate to all necessary stakeholders.

You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, balance trade-offs, and encourage risk-taking to maximize business value.

You will evangelize on behalf of AWS and influence customers to allocate the appropriate resources to achieve their goals.
