Position Title: Supervisor, Camp Kanannaq

Salary: $53,000- $57,000 annually

Nature & Scope (Brief overview of the position)
YMCA Camp Kanannaq is nestled on the shores of Nadsilnich (West) Lake, just a 20-minute drive from Prince George, BC. Spanning 200 acres of stunning, forested lakefront, the camp features a beautiful waterfront where campers can swim or boat daily. The forested areas provide perfect settings for activities like archery, fire-building, and orienteering.
During July and August, Camp Kanannaq hosts day camp programs for youth aged 5-17, with one-week camps for those aged 5-15, and two to three-week leadership development programs. In the spring and fall, the camp offers both day and overnight Outdoor Education programs.
Major Responsibilities- in this position, you will:
As the Supervisor, Camp Kanannaq, you will oversee daily operations, manage interpersonal conflicts, and supervise staff recruitment and development. You will ensure a high-quality camper experience by aligning activities with the camp's mission and adhering to standards. Additionally, you will maintain health and safety protocols, support inclusive program development, and communicate with parents and partnership groups.
