Employment Status : Part‑time, permanent (guaranteed 20 hours a week). The role will be based out of Carstairs and will support Cremona, Didsbury and Crossfield branches.
The Member Experience Advisor acts as the first line of support as members work toward their financial goals. This role provides exceptional member service, completes transactional banking services, offers solutions to financial needs, and contributes to branch portfolio and growth objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide exceptional member service that builds trust through responsive service and support to deliver what is right for every member.
- Process a variety of cash and non‑cash member service transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, account updates, balances, money orders, credit card advances, and electronic funds transfers.
- Pursue and generate sales referrals by proactively promoting Servus products and services and recording all referrals.
- Build trust with members, resolve routine problems, and refer complex questions to the appropriate internal personnel.
- Apply policies and procedures to meet safety, legal and privacy requirements.
- Maintain area security and participate in internal security audits.
- Educate members on digital and self‑serve service channels to simplify their banking experience.
- Support other branch team members with call center duties, routine correspondence, compliance, and audit activities.
- Assist with opening / closing duties, reconcile ATM and night deposit contents, and administer branch cash services per risk‑management policies.
- Act as joint custodian for specified combinations, maintaining related records.
- Keep knowledge of all credit union products and services to foster business development.
- Promote and participate in branch campaigns and initiatives.
What You Bring
1 year of customer service or administration experience.Sales experience is an asset.Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Good computer skills and quick learning of related programs.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Problem‑solving, organizational, and multi‑tasking abilities.Customer service orientation and attention to detail.Fast and accurate data entry skills; aptitude for numbers.Good financial literacy and investigative skills for uncovering member needs.Benefits
