The Role

As Director of Finance , you will be the senior financial voice for the business, overseeing a collaborative team of professionals and acting as a key business partner to operational leadership. Your focus will span from financial planning and analysis to forecasting, budgeting, and driving efficiencies across the board.

You'll be instrumental in streamlining processes, leading ERP transformation, and aligning finance with operational strategy — all while mentoring your team and contributing to the broader vision of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full financial function across multiple production sites in Canada, the U.S., and internationally
• Oversee preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Implement financial strategies aligned with operational performance and growth objectives
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including revenue recognition under complex project-based models
• Monitor key performance metrics and introduce financial controls to drive profitability
• Serve as a financial partner to leadership, translating data into actionable insights
• Spearhead improvements in working capital metrics, including receivables, payables, and inventory
• Play a key role in the implementation and optimization of a global ERP system
• Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance function
• Establish standard operating procedures and elevate team capabilities through coaching and training
