Hays has partnered with a construction management firm. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple mid-size to large construction projects in the Greater Toronto Area. The organization delivers complex builds across commercial and institutional sectors, operating as a well‑established private firm with a strong regional presence.
Your new role
The open role(s) is for a Project Manager to join the team, reporting directly to the director of operations. They will work on site and out of office, overseeing multiple ICI Projects in the Greater Toronto Area. They will work closely with Superintendents to provide full‑cycle construction management from pre‑construction through to project completion. They will monitor all project costs, ensuring work progresses on schedule and remains within approved financial parameters. In addition, they will lead project meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners, driving alignment, progress, and timely decision‑making. All project work must be delivered in full compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and construction drawings.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Project Manager will have at least 6 years managing ICI projects from start to finish. They will have a Post-Secondary Education in architecture, engineering or architectural technology, or related field. They will bring advanced computer skills and hands‑on experience with project management and coordination software, including tools such as Procore, MS Project, and other scheduling, time‑management, and contract‑administration platforms. Finally, the Project Manager will be a strong communicator both orally and written, with the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll get in return
The Project Manager will receive a base salary ($125,000-$150,000 dependent on experience), potential bonus, comprehensive health and dental coverage, RRSP matching, and paid vacation.
